The question why

pattern 001 by you.

“Why do I write.” It’s a good question. Ask it of yourself every once in a while.”

Reason number one: I find myself dreaming about writing. It’s never at a computer, it’s always with a stack of those A4 lined notebooks that you can steal from your stationery cupboard at work, or that I used to buy from Franklins when I was at high school. It’s always a stack of those and a stack of blue, Bic pens with a fine tip.

Reason number two: because one day I want to be able to write good :)

Reason number three: So I can read back on what I wrote and either tear it to shreds, blush and want to delete it or get stuck in the moment I was trying to write about.

Reason number four: because Natalie’s book is always on my bookshelf, or thrown behind my bed and every time I read it I want to be able to devote days and hours and lifetimes to writing. Sometimes there seems so much to write about I can hardly understand why I ever have trouble starting off.
